Our first topic is knowledge. Here are some links on knowledge and skepticism. The first is about the philosophical implications of the movie The Matrix.
Next is an audio interview by a modern philosopher on the Descartes reading we're discussing in class.The last link is a more advanced version of the Nick Bostrom article that we're reading for class on the likelihood that we're really in a computer simulation.

Someone said in class one day this or last week that you can't read in dreams and that's how you know you're dreaming and not awake....
Well I had a dream last night and I was reading things that were painted in a painting, I remember reading the word "Rage" and "don't make me tell you what I know" & "you will regret it"
Hmmm sounds kinda creepy....
Anywho, that theory is blown out of the water! Some people CAN read in their sleep! :-)
Nice! I agree. I think there is a lot more variety in dreams than many of us think.
